Grace Community Church

Grace Community Church will be hosting a special event may 16th at 7PM with Awaken Praise Band and Vertical Connection Ministries. We will be bringing an offering of praise and worship to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Followed by a message, prayer and a clothes giveaway for needy families right here in our community. We are doing a clothes drive for Vertical Connection Ministries, so now is the time to clean those closets! And donate those extra clothes to a wonderful cause. As we all know, the recession as well as an increase in unemployment has many families struggling simply to “make ends meet.” Grace Community Church is committed to transforming our community-and we need your help! If you have clothes you would like to donate to VCM, or non-perishable food items for the church’s food pantry please contact me directly. We are also collecting baby needs items such as diapers, wipes, formula, baby food, etc to stock our pantry for young mothers and families who are out of work. A task such as this may seem overwhelming, but if we work together “many hands will make a task light.” I want to thank you in advance for your generosity.

Grace Community Church

April will be an eventful month for Grace Community Church! April 7, 2012 will be our First Annual “He Lives” Easter Celebration, an outreach focused on children. There will be movies, games, face painting, an egg hunt, and crafts for children of all ages. Sunday April 8, 2012 will mark the launch of Sunday Celebration Services, with our Resurrection Celebration, with Pastor Zach sharing the message “Religion is DEAD…God is ALIVE.” We will continue LifeGroup, our Wednesday evening Bible study, with fellowship and a greater understanding of God’s Word. April 28, we will join the Potter’s House Worship Center as they host “The Cry-Broadway” at Broadway High School. The Cry is an evening of passionate worship geared toward young people and teens and will not be an evening to miss. Rather than exalting a church or a denomination, The Cry will connect with Jesus Christ, exalting Him above all else!

This month at Grace Community Church (March) LifeGroup will begin meeting at our NEW location: 162 North Main St. Broadway, VA 22815. On Wednesday March 7, 2012 we will take a pause from the “DOCTRINE” series, and focus our Wednesday evening gatherings on worship & prayer. In April, the “DOCTRINE” series will resume.

LifeGroup will meet this Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Grace Community Church at 7pm. The focus of the gathering will be worship & prayer (Drawing near to God). All are invited and welcome to attend. We will be seeking intimacy with the Father, this will be a time of fellowship with Holy Spirit, a time of refreshing and renewal. Scripture will be included, as we pray, and worship. We will pray for our community, our nation, other nations, salvations, the church, the leadership, and for the expansion of God’s Kingdom in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Please pray and fast in advance of this gathering as directed by the urging of Holy Spirit. Remove the distractions! Remove the barriers! Prepare for an ENCOUNTER! As we draw near to God…He will draw near to us! And lives and communities will be transformed!

Grace Community Church is committed to advancing God’s Kingdom in the Shenandoah Valley, and the world. Our vision is to plant churches across the nation and the world. A part of this vision is our desire to connect and partner with other “like-minded” churches and ministries. Grace To The Nations, is one such organization. Doug & Cassia Wenger have helped plant more than thirty six churches in Brazil, their ministry has the potential to reach the nations with rapidly growing churches, leadership training, and mercy ministries. Their most recent church plants have been in the Amazon region of Brazil, an area that is home to inhabitants who have never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Because of their efforts, the Gospel is being preached, lives have been changed, and an unreached people group has a gathering place to worship the God of the Bible. Most recently, Doug & Cassia established a school of ministry dedicated to training missionaries in Broadway, VA. Grace Community Church has partnered with Grace To The Nations and will share the facility in Broadway, VA. March 7, 2012 will mark the first LifeGroup held at our new location & on April 8, 2012 we will launch Sunday Celebration Services at 10am. Our new location:
